    PARADE
July 4, 2009 -- The Indepdence Day parade will gather at the front entrance to Montpier Farms at 10:45 am on Saturday, July 4 and begin rolling at 11:00 am. Anything that moves and can be decorated red, white and blue is welcome. The parade will go down Montpier Drive to the 4-way stop. At that point the human-powered vehicles can turn left and go to the picnic spot. The powered vehicles will proceed to make a bigger loop of the neighborhood. We will all end up at 1402 Natchez Rd and picnic under the trees.

    PICNIC
A cook-out will follow the parade at the Fagan house (1402 Natchez Rd). Hot dogs and condiments will be provided. Please bring drinks for your own family and any kind of side dish, chips, dessert, etc. to share with your neighbors. If you are known and somewhat famous for a signature dish, please being it on. . . we are ready with plastic forks in hand. As always, a hot grill will be available if you would like to bring something to cook for your own group.

    WHAT TO DO
It is a good idea to bring your own chairs, blankets and towels. This is meant to be just a fun way to spend a laid-back afternoon with your family and friends. We will have an inflatable bouncer for the kids with a small water slide. If you have any ideas for activities of games, just let Don or Tamra Fagan know at 591-5597 or email donfagan@bellsouth.net.

    RSVP
Please a voicemail at 591-5597 with the approximate number of folks coming to the picnic. We just like to get a ball park number, however, feel free to bring other friends if they show up; there is usually plenty to go around. Copies of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States will be available in case you need one.

We look forward to seeing YOU on the 4th!
